Bayer and Pfizer are Laboratories against Life
Pharmaceutical multinational Pfizer bought off multinational company Wyeth for 50,000 million Euros. Wyeth manufactures and sells condoms, abortion pills and contraceptives. Thus, Pfizer is now expanding its market unto the “business of death”. Many consumers react by purchasing these pharmaceutical products while being sexually active. That is how labs such as Bayer and Pfizer hide and sell their product behind the logo “emergency contraceptives”.
The Ministries of Health and Education held a meeting in Mexico City with the aims of coming up with incentives to help eradicate AIDS in Latin American and the Caribbean. During the meeting, Caribbean delegates sought to introduce the principle of abstinence before marriage, as well as fidelity during marriage. These proposals were radically rejected.
It has been thought that during these past decades, parents do not prepare their children to become adults, but to become perennial teenagers incapable of becoming mature adults. This is reflected in the behavior that these teens have in society, showing off menacing tendencies of individualism. This age group has been demonstrating a change of interests: from toys to drugs, from soccer balls to alcohol, from candy to sex.
What do they gain? Contraceptive manufacturers, such as Planned Parenthood, become richer and richer from exploiting humans’ sexual passion, for example, by indirectly influencing and supporting young women to have abortions.
Therefore, the ingenuity shown by the Ministries of Health and Education when rejecting the promotion of abstinence and fidelity is due to their own socio-economic interest. Instead of wanting for teenagers to live a life full of dignity, prevention, and happiness, they prioritize their personal gains. Instead of promoting abstinence and fidelity, they choose to promote condoms and the day-after abortive pill, since they offer “pleasure without consequences”. In general, abstinence and fidelity are too often rejected among teenagers, because they take sacrifice and discipline; principles that are often refused, because they are usually difficult to put into practice.
If education was one of the main tools into raising awareness of the negative consequences that being sexually active prior to marriage brings, then it would become easier for teenagers not to purchase pharmaceutical contraceptives. As a result, these manufacturers would not become millionaires and would not therefore exploit humans’ sexual nature. (Translated by Gianna A. Sanchez-Moretti)
