The Lives of 5 Leaders
In an Ugandan newspaper I recently published an article entitled “The lives of five leaders”. A native read it. He told me that his wife is HIV+ and he is HIV-. They are to have a pair of twins that are HIV- just like the father. The mother, with three months into her pregnancy, wishes to abort. However, the father of the twins is against it. He asked me: “what should I do if my wife insists upon having the abortion?” I simply told him that the children they would be having soon were divine gifts from God; aborting is a crime that will forever burden one’s life. God knows best, and who knows, these children could be the best things that have ever happened to both of their lives. Avoid the abortion and motivate your wife to not do it.

I also received a document entitled “Pregnancy Test”, in which five different situations are described justifying abortion.
In the first case the father is asthmatic and the mother has tuberculosis. They already have four children. The first one is blind, the second one deaf, the third one died during birth, and the fourth one has tuberculosis.
The second pregnancy case was due to a white man raping a black 13 year old girl.
The third pregnancy case is that of a woman that has many children, two of which have passed away, her husband is serving the war, and she does not have much time to live.
The fourth pregnancy case is that of an Anglican pastor and his wife. They have grave economic problems and already have fourteen children. They are really poor.
The fifth case is that of a young woman whose husband is not the father of the baby to be.
If these pregnancy cases were to have accepted t an abortion, then 5 people of great importance to humanity would not have been born. In the order of the cases presented, here are these significant five: Ludwig van Beethoven Renowned composer, director of the German Orchestra, and pianist; Ethel Walters One of the best African American singers; John Paul II Pope number 264 of the Catholic Church; John Wesley Anglican pastor and theologian; Jesus of Nazaret the world’s Savior and Reedemer.
