Una niña Abandonada / A left girl

Causa horror y estremece las fibras más íntimas de nuestro ser, el hallazgo de una niña recién nacida, abandonada dentro de una bolsa de plástico en Trabajo del Camino (León). La niña todavía tenía el cordón umbilical unido a la placenta. No es imaginable la actitud de fiera o sin corazón de la madre que la abandonó. Puestos a buscar causas, una destacaría sobre las demás: la que mira a la educación de esa madre en los valores humanos y cívicos. Por ello, cuando se socavan los fundamentos de la convivencia surge un egoísmo feroz, hedonista, materialista y se desprecian las normas morales, se está contribuyendo a que abunden casos como el citado.
Pero somos conscientes de las trabas que la sociedad impone a esos intentos moldeadores de personalidades individuales. La familia se ve desarbolada; la escuela, desautorizada; la autoridad legítima, escarnecida. Si la familia es la primera célula educadora de la sociedad ¿Porqué se está destruyendo?
En esta sociedad decadente hay que valorar al niño en toda su dimensión y trascendencia como una persona en desarrollo y que los adultos parece que tienen un empeño especial en ir “contra natura”, degradando su integridad física y moral.
No deben olvidar esas madres, crueles, que sus hijos no son suyos, son hijos de Dios.
Mientras la gran ventana lívida, la televisión, suplante a los padres, no podremos extrañarnos de que el cubo de la basura sea la cuna más apropiada para un recién nacido.

The finding of a new born girl, left in a plastic bag in Trabajo del Camino (Leon), causes horror and shakes the most intimate fibers of our being. The girl still had the umbilical cord joined to the placenta. The attitude of fierce or without heart of the mother who left her is not imaginable. If we look for causes, one would emphasize on the others: the one that points to the education of that mother in the human and civic values. For that reason, when the fundaments of the coexistence are undermined, arises a ferocious, hedonist and materialistic egoism and when the moral norms are rejected, there is a contribution to the abundance of cases like this.
But we are conscious of the ties that the society imposes to those shaped attempts of individual personalities. The family is itself unprotected; the school is deprived of authority; the legitimate authority is outraged. If the family is the first educator cell of the society, why is she been destroyed?
In this declining society it is necessary to value the child in all his dimension and transcendence as a developing person and it seems that the adults have a special persistence in going “contra natura”, degrading his physical and moral integrity. Those cruel mothers should not forget that their children do not belong to them, they are children of God.
While the great livid window, the television, supplants the parents, we might not surprise that the garbage can is the most appropriate Moses basket for a new born.
